Radcliffe Lightweight Rowing Prepared for Home Opener Against Princeton

 
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Radcliffe lightweight rowing is set to open its 2023 home schedule with the Class of 1999 Cup. The Crimson looks to reclaim the Class of 1999 Cup after narrowly falling to No. 1 Princeton last season. 

What to Know

  • The Crimson returns to Cambridge for the first time this season. 
  • Last season Radcliffe finished with a 2-2 record and finished third at the Eastern Sprints and fifth at IRA Nationals. 
  • The Black and White look to build off its season-opening weekend against Georgetown. 
  • Last week, Harvard won the varsity 2x race with a time of 9:15.7.Sophie Campbell and Isabel Mehta in the varsity 2x boat won the 2000m race by 30 seconds.
  • Radcliffe has an all-time record of 13-17 against Princeton. 

Next Up 

Radcliffe will compete for the Beanpot and Muri Cup vs Boston University and MIT on Apr.8. The race will be streamed on ESPN+.
