CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Heavyweight Rowing senior
Clark Dean has been named to Academic All-Ivy League Team, the league announced on Friday morning.
To be eligible for Academic All-Ivy recognition, an athlete must be in good academic standing and be a third- or fourth-year student.
A native of Sarasota, Florida, Dean has been a consistent presence in the first varsity eight boat during his time with the Crimson. He most recently sat in the stroke seat at Eastern Sprints, helping Harvard finish in fourth as it crossed the line in 5:26.323.
Dean and his Crimson teammates are now preparing for the IRA National Championship Regatta, which is being held on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, New Jersey, beginning June 2 and running through June 4.
