CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard track and field teams will travel to the U.K. to compete alongside Yale at the University of Birmingham and the University of Cambridge. The first meet of the international series will take place on Saturday, June 24 at the University of Birmingham. Harvard will then travel to the University of Cambridge on Tuesday, June 28 to compete in a second installment this year of the historic HYOC meet, this time hosted by the international rival.

The Harvard roster includes three NCAA Champions, crowned the best in the U.S. at the championship meet just two weeks ago. Ikeji and Ratcliffe brought home Harvard's first ever pair of hammer throw championship titles in the same year while
Maia Ramsden set a school record while winning the 1500m run. Valeanu also recently won the European Athletics team championships in the discus throw for Isreal while Omoregie will compete in the shot put at the same meet on Saturday in place of the competition in Birmingham.
Multiple athletes will be competing in their home country of the U.K., including Ikeji, Omoregie, Henry-Daire and Falode.
The roster also features multiple event winners from the HYOC meet that the Crimson hosted in Cambridge, Mass. on April 8. Women's winners included Ndip-Agbor in the 100m dash, Bossong in the 400m dash, Ramsden in the 1500m and 5000m runs, Biernacki in the 100m hurdles, Otervik in the 3000m steeplechase, Ratcliffe in the hammer throw, Omoregie in the shot put, Valeanu in the discus throw and Retsa in the pole vault. The men's team won the following events as well: Ward in the 100m dash, Pryor in the 3000m steeplechase, Blanks in the 5000m run, Shirley in the 110m hurdles, Falode in the triple jump, Ikeji in the hammer throw and Kolesnikoff in the shot put.
