Men's Ice Hockey Announces 2023-24 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's ice hockey announced its 2023-24 schedule today (July 31), which will feature 29 contests in all, including 22 ECAC Hockey matchups and 13 games at Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
 
Harvard will host its second annual Hocktoberfest on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, transforming Bright-Landry into an arena full of interactive hockey with a chance to meet Harvard Hockey coaches and staff.
 
The Crimson will open the 2023-24 season on the road against Dartmouth on Oct. 27, 2023 before returning home the following Friday (Nov. 3) for its home opener against Princeton on Nov. 4.
 
Non-conference highlights include games against UMass (Nov. 24, 4 pm) and Boston College (Nov. 26, 1 pm) at home, a New Year's Eve contest against UConn (Dec. 31, 4 pm) on the road, and a trip to Arizona State for the Desert Hockey Classic (Jan. 5-6), where UMass-Lowell and Nebraska-Omaha will also compete in a winter break tournament.
 
The 71st annual Dunkin' Beanpot tournament will begin on Feb. 5, as Harvard will take on Northeastern in a rematch of the 2023 Beanpot final.
 
Harvard is coming off a successful 2022-23 season, finishing the year at 24-8-2 (18-4-0 ECAC Hockey) recording the second-most wins of any Harvard team since 1994, and the most conference wins since the 1988-89 season. The Crimson earned its 27th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, its sixth NCAA berth in its last seven completed seasons.
