CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 14 Harvard field hockey (5-3, 2-0 Ivy) heads to Yale on Friday to continue its Ivy League schedule before returning to Cambridge on Sunday to face No. 10 Syracuse in another big weekend for the program. The Crimson will face-off against the Bulldogs on 5:00 p.m. on Friday before hosting the nationally ranked Orange at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
WHAT TO KNOW
- The game against Syracuse will be the fifth nationally ranked opponent for the Crimson this season and the fourth top-10 opponent. At this point last season Harvard had only played one top-10 opponent.
- Harvard defeated Brown after Sage Piekarski's fourth quarter goal last Friday night. The first-year now has three goals on the season and sits third on the team in points.
- Lucy Leel scored the big goal for the Crimson against No. 5 Duke on Sunday after an amazing individual effort. Leel leads the team in goals and points.
- Bronte-May Brough scored her first goal of the season to tie the game at one on a penalty corner against Duke.
- Harvard cruised to a victory last year over its Ivy Rivals from New Haven after goals from Bronte-May Brough and Emily Berlinghof.
- The Crimson has won its last nine games against Yale.
- Harvard has an all-time record of 28-15-7 against Yale and 0-1 against Syracuse.

The Crimson returns to Berylson Field to host Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday Oct. 6 before welcoming Saint Joseph's University on Sunday Oct. 8 at 12:00 p.m. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
