Harvard alpine made its season debut on the weekend following the postponement of alpine events at the UVM carnival last weekend. Rounding out a three-week period of training, the Crimson put together an overall strong performance, rebounding from difficult conditions – including dry, chalky, soft snow – on day one in the giant slalom with improved results on day two in the slalom. The Crimson featured four men and two women on the weekend, missing two first-years on the women's side due to injury.
Â
As a team, Harvard placed ninth out of 14 teams at the carnival with Colby College serving as the event host.
