WHAT TO KNOW

• Harvard is kicking off its 12th season under Charley Butt, the Bolles-Parker Head Coach for Harvard Men's Heavyweight Crew. Having previously led the Crimson men's lightweight rowing program for 28 years, Butt is now entering his 40th season at Harvard overall.
• The club eight will race on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1:18 p.m. ET. The Crimson will then race three boats in the champ boat competition on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1:50 p.m. ET.
• In the 2023 fall season, HUBC's Champ A boat posted the top collegiate time (14:26.413) at Head of the Charles Regatta. Returning to the Champ A eight this year are Josh Brangan, Ben Scott, Gabriel Obholzer, Leo Bessler, Ben Scott, Cameron Beyki, and Tyler Horler.
