WHAT TO KNOW
  • The Crimson will play CBU, Pacific, and San Jose State for the second time this season. Currently, Harvard holds a 1-2 record after only picking up a win against CBU early in the season.
  • Jack Burghardt netted the game winner with less than thirty seconds left in regulation in the first meeting with the Crimson and Lancers.
  • Harvard narrowly fell to No. 6 Pacific in its next game after the Crimson was unable to complete a late fourth quarter comeback.
  • The Crimson battled back from an early 3-0 deficit and had to come from behind multiple times in the second half. Down by one with less than thirty seconds to go, the Harvard defense got a stop and gave the offense one more chance to tie the game. After calling a timeout, the Crimson hit the post as time expired.
  • Harvard fell to San Jose State last weekend at the Harvard Invite by a score of 10-8.
  • The 10-8 final marks the third time this season that the Crimson has held a ranked team to 10 goals or under.
  • San Jose State snapped an eight-game win streak for the Crimson, who has now won 11 of its last 12 games.
  • This weekend is the most challenging weekend for the Crimson since Sept. 2022 when the Crimson played No. 17 Fordham, No. 4 Stanford, and No. 13 California Baptist in three games to open the season.
  • Harvard played the exact same schedule at last season's Julian Fraser Memorial tournament and came away with four wins in four games.
