PRINCETON, N.J. – After a successful regular season campaign that saw No. 11 Harvard field hockey post a 13-3 record and secure a bid to the 2024 Ivy League Field Hockey Tournament, six Crimson garnered All-Ivy League status, along with a pair of All-Ivy League honorable mentions.

Bronte-May Brough and sophomore midfielder
Lara Beekhuis represent the Crimson on the All-Ivy League First Team, while senior midfielder and team captain
Emily Guckian, junior midfielder
Kitty Chapple, junior forward
Kate Oliver, and sophomore forward
Sage Piekarski all received All-Ivy League Second Team honors. Junior goalkeeper
Tessa Shahbo and senior forward
Lucy Leel were named All-Ivy League honorable mentions.
One of the best defenders in collegiate field hockey, Brough continues to be a focal point in the Crimson's acclaimed defensive structure. A native of Uttoxeter, England, Brough earns All-Ivy League First Team honors for a third straight year, the first Harvard student-athlete to do so since Hannah Pearce '22. Starting all 16 matches and playing a team-high 982 minutes, Brough has one goal, a joint team-high five assists, and seven points this season.
An electric offensive talent for the Crimson, Beekhuis picks up All-Ivy League First Team accolades for the first time in her collegiate career. After scoring 10 goals across 20 appearances last season, Beekhuis continues to be a reliable goal scorer for Harvard, as the Laren, Netherlands native is tied for the team leads in goals (9) and points (20), adding two assists as well. In the Ivy League, Beekhuis is tied for second in goals, as she is averaging 1.16 points per game in her Harvard career.
After gaining All-Ivy League First Team status in 2022 and 2023, Chapple picks up All-Ivy League Second Team status for the first time. One of the best midfielders in the conference, Chapple is key to the Crimson's success, allowing Harvard to regain and keep possession in an efficient manner. A native of Somerset, England, Chapple has started every match this season, scoring one goal and picking up two assists.
A leader for Harvard on and off the pitch, Guckian is now a four-time All-Ivy League selection, as she earned All-Ivy League First Team last season and All-Ivy League Second Team honors in 2022 and 2021. One of the Crimson's best creative midfielders, Guckian has five goals, one assist and 11 points in 16 starts, as she has 64 points in 72 career appearances, just two points shy of tying for 10
th all-time in program history.
A breakout star for Harvard in 2024, Oliver enjoyed the best season of her Crimson tenure, recording career-highs in goals (6) and points (14) in just 12 appearances this season. An All-Ivy League honorable mention in 2023, Oliver scored a goal in three-straight matches against Dartmouth, Vermont and Brown, the longest scoring streak for Harvard this season.
The 2023 Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Year, Piekarski followed her phenomenal first year with a stellar sophomore season. In 16 appearances and nine starts this year, Piekarski is tied for the team lead in goals (9) and points (20), as she has allowed Harvard's attack to hit new heights in 2024. In a historic 9-3 win against Columbia, Piekarski recorded the Crimson's only hat trick this season, as she now has 17 goals in her Crimson career.
Shahbo and Leel earn All-Ivy League honorable mention nods after superb regular season campaigns. A native of London, England, Leel recorded new career-highs in goals (7) and points (14) this season. In her second season as Harvard's full-time starting goalie, Shahbo hit new career-bests in goals against average (1.16), saves (61) and save percentage (.782).
