PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving set the new program standard in the 200 medley relay on Wednesday to open the Ivy League Championships at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center. The Crimson competed in two relays on day one and enter Thursday's action in a second-place tie with Brown (110 points).
 
Harvard, which trails Princeton (128 points) in the team standings, went into the first event – the 200 medley relay – with Anya Mostek, Victoria Eisenhauer, Addie Rose Bullock and Mandy Brenner set to compete. The quartet ended with a time of 1:37.38 to establish a school record, surpassing the previous mark of 1:37.81, set in 2020 by Felicia Pasadyn, Jaycee Yegher, Bullock and Mei Lynn Colby.
 
The relay's performance was good for a second-place finish and would have set a pool record had the Tigers not finished in first (1:36.79). From a 2023-24 perspective, Harvard's time was nearly two seconds faster than its top time coming into the meet (1:39.21).
 
The Crimson closed out day-one action with a third-place effort in 800 free relay. Mostek, Sydney Lu, Molly Hamlin and Alexandra Bastone combined to finish in a season-best 7:10.25. Harvard, which boasted a season-best time of 7:16.58 entering Wednesday, clocked in behind Princeton (7:04.45) and Brown (7:08.77).
 
Harvard returns to the pool deck on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET for the prelims of the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 1-meter diving. The finals, meanwhile, are set to begin at 6 p.m. ET. Both sessions will stream live on ESPN+.
