No. 20/18 Men’s Lacrosse Ranked in Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse Polls

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a 2-0 week that featured a pair of thrilling come-from-behind victories, the Harvard Crimson men's lacrosse program moved into two of the three major NCAA lacrosse national rankings.

The Crimson (3-0, 0-0 Ivy) entered the USA Lacrosse Magazine national poll a week ago and return to the top 20 in the No. 18 slot this week.

Harvard also received enough votes in the week three poll to land on the Inside Lacrosse media poll, claiming the No. 20 slot. It is the Crimson's first appearance in the IL media poll since the 2023 preseason poll that had the program slotted at No. 13. Harvard climbed to as high as No. 14 in the poll in its 2022 NCAA Tournament run.

The Frisbie Family Head Coach for Harvard Men's Lacrosse, Gerry Byrne and his squad also remain in the top 15 in Quint Kessenich's USA Lacrosse All-Stars Poll this week, receiving the No. 14 spot on this week's list.

The program found itself just 16 votes shy of landing on the USILA Coaches Poll this week, receving 37 votes and landing at No. 21 in the nation.

Harvard will put its perfect record on the line tomorrow night when it host Merrimack in a Tuesday tilt at 7:00 PM under the lights at Jordan Field and on ESPN+.
