"It is a true honor to be elected by my teammates as a returning captain alongside Sean [Jordan] and Jack [Speidell]," said Ip. "The great leaders we had over the past three years have set a strong example that we hope to emulate. I am excited to get to back to work!"

"To be elected captain of this team is the greatest responsibility that I have ever been given and it means everything to me to have earned this honor," said Jordan. "I want to be the type of leader that the team can rally around deep in the 4th quarter and be a model of what a Harvard Lacrosse player should look like. As a captain, if I can consistently do the right thing day in and day out, I hope to bring an extra level of focus to practice, lifts, and games. The more focused the program is on being excellent, the better the potential result."
A junior attackmen,
Jack Speidell enters the 2026 season on the heels of a breakout sophomore season. Speidell was elected captain by his teammates and will follow in the footsteps of

"I am very grateful to be elected captain and it means a lot to me, especially because it comes from my teammates. Having their trust makes this role really meaningful and being chosen as a junior makes it even more special," said Speidell. "This team is a true brotherhood. We're close, we care about each other, and we want the best for one another. I hope to bring the best out of our team. We have a lot of talent and potential, and my goal is to make sure we're pushing each other and holding ourselves accountable so we can reach it."
This trio of leaders will now continue to work with their teammates in the Fall in preparation for the rapidly approaching 2026 season that is set to begin in mid-February.
