PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving's
Amy Wotovich earned an invitation to the NCAA Championships on Tuesday after a fourth-place performance on the three-meter springboard at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. The junior will join
Nina Janmyr at nationals after the sophomore qualified on Monday in the one-meter event.
How It Happened
- Wotovich put herself in a position to qualify for NCAAs after she finished in fourth in the preliminary round with a score of 298.50, to advance to the final round.
- Janmyr (232.25, 45th) and Katie Laverty (212.80, 56th) also participated in the prelims, but did not advance after failing to place in the top 18.
- With all eyes on Wotovich, the junior maintained her fourth-place position with a final 12-dive score of 613.35, finishing safely in the top-5 required to receive an invite to nationals.
- The 2024 NCAA appearance will mark the first of Wotovich's career.
