CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard field hockey unveiled its Class of 2028, as the Crimson will welcome five first-years to the roster ahead of the 2024 season. This class brings an excellent mix of talent and will uplift the Crimson in the fall.
Emily Bronckers | Blaricum, Netherlands
Excelled in field hockey and tennis in high school … A member of the Larensche Mixed Hockey Club for 11 years, from 2012 to 2023 … Competed in the premier youth leagues with Larensche … Played with Huizer Hockey Club during the 2023-24 season in the Promotieklasse … Pushed Larensche to national semifinals in the 2018-19 and 2022-23 seasons … Won promotion to the Hoofdklasse with a championship win with Huizer during the 2023-24 season … Coached one of the youth teams at Huizer this past year.
Tilly Butterworth | Norwich, England
Won a bronze medal with Great Britian at the 2022 Women's Junior World Cup in South Africa … A member of the England U21 national teams from 2022-2024 … Participated in the Great Britain Elite Development Program during the 2022-2023 season … Represented England on the U16 team from 2021-2022 … Played with Repton Hockey Club from 2019 to 2022 and 2023 to 2024 … Captained the Repton first team in 2024 … Also captained Repton at the U18, U16, and U14 levels … Led Repton to U18 School Tier 1 Championships in three straight seasons … Also excelled in track & field.
Paige Cornelius | New Albany, Ohio
Patrolled the midfield for the United States' U16 and U18 teams … Earned NFHCA High School All-America Second Team honors her senior year at New Albany High School in Ohio …MAX Field Hockey first team All-America honoree … Named in the Top-50 of MAX Field Hockey's player rankings for the Class of 2024 … Two-time NFHCA High School All-Region honoree in 2023 and 2022 … Three-time Ohio All-State selection from 2021-2023 … Led New Albany High School to its first OHSAA State Final, finishing as Ohio runners-up … Led the United States' U18 Blue Team to second place at the Four Nations Tournament … Also lettered in Tennis in high school.

Garnered NFHCA Pennsylvania All-State First Team honors in 2023 … Two-time NFHCA Pennsylvania All-State Second Team honoree, earning the recognition in 2021 and 2022 … Named a MAX Field Hockey All-Region Second Team selection … 2023 PennLive Central Pennsylvania All-Star … Earned a silver medal with the US Field Hockey Nexus U-19 in 2023 … Recorded 94 career points, scoring 28 goals and providing 38 assists … Led Hershey High School to a Mid Penn League Championship … Pushed Hershey to PA District 3 runner-up finishes in 2020,2021,2022, and 2023 … Guided Hershey to the Pennsylvania State Semifinals in 2023 … Also lettered in lacrosse in high school.
