SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Harvard men's lacrosse continues to showcase its academic success as today 12 of its student-athletes were named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team. The Crimson had the most honorees at the Division I level as all the graduating seniors earned the accolade.
George Alvarez, Fred Asare-Konadu, Christian Barnard, Collin Bergstrom, Mike Binkowski, Andrew DeGennaro, Jaden Jernigan, Brennan McBride, Mark Stephens, Andrew O'Berry, Graham Blake and Greg Campisi made up the 12 selections for the Crimson. The group posted individual cumulative grade point averages of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale to earn the honor.
This was the second consecutive season in which at least 12 student-athletes were honored, after 13 former Crimson earned the distinction in 2023.
The Crimson continues to earn recognition for the effort put in the classroom this year. Harvard was recently recognized as the USILA Team GPA award winner after posting the highest team GPA in Division I Lacrosse. Additionally, senior captain Collin Bergstrom was recognized as a USILA Scholar All-American, Academic All-Ivy Honoree and a CSC Academic All-District selection.
