CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard softball will welcome seven first-years to campus this fall, as the group provides a wealth of talent heading into the 2025 campaign.

The seven soon-to-be Crimson join 13 returners from a 2024 team that won a share of the Ivy League Regular Season Championship and advanced to the championship round of the 2024 Ivy League Tournament.

Linden McCarl | Pitcher | Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Earned All-Marmonte League honors three times during her high school career … Led Westlake High School to the Marmonte League title in 2021 … Served as team captain for Westlake High School during the 2023-24 season. Named to the 2022 PGF Future Stars list … Garnered a place in the top-16 in the 2023 Colorado Sparklers Power Pool … Earned Westlake High School Scholar Athlete honors across all four years.

Alexa Muller | Catcher/Utility | Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Started all four years for Oxbridge Academy of the Palm Beaches … Team captain for her high school squad during the 2023 and 2024 campaigns … Led Oxbridge Academy to Regional Championships in 2023 and 2022, advancing to the FHSAA 2A State Semifinals in both seasons … Garnered second team All-County recognition from the Miami Sun Sentinel three times in her career (2022-24) … Three-time Palm Beach Post second team All-County honoree (2022-24) … Member of the National Honor Society.

Hailey Neuner | Catcher/Utility | Wildwood, Mo.
Led Marquette High School to conference and district championships her junior season … Held the mantle as team captain her junior and senior seasons … Garnered All-St. Louis County honors in 2022, 2023, and 2024 … Also earned All-District recognition in those three seasons … Three-time Academic All-Missouri honoree … Also lettered in lacrosse at Marquette High School.

Marley Nielson | Utility | Miami, Fla.
Served as team captain for all four years at St. Brendan High School, leading the program to its first district title in seven years … Garnered first team All-County honors in 2023 and 2024 … Named Dade County Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2024 … Earned St. Brendan High School Female Varsity Athlete of the Year in 2024.

Quinn Salazar-Stewart | Catcher | Chandler, Ariz.
Named the Arizona All-CUSD Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 … Garnered All-CUSD First Team recognition during her sophomore and junior seasons … Garnered Arizona 6A First-Team All-Conference honors three times (2022, 2023, 2024) … Also earned Arizona 6A First Team All-Premier Region recognition in the same seasons … Selected to the Arizona All-Academic Team all four years of her high school career … Member of the National Honors Society.

Olivia Torres | Pitcher | La Mirada, Calif.
Led La Serna High School to the Del Rio League Championship in the 2023 season … Won All-Area Pitcher of the Year honors … Also named Del Rio League Pitcher of the Year … Garnered Whittier Daily News All-Area recognition … Two-time Defensive Player of he Year … San Gabriel Valley First Team selection … 2023 and 2024 PGF Regional Finalist … A member of the National Charity League and the National Honor Society.

Elena Weinseimer | Outfielder | Belmar, N.J.
Captained the Manasquan softball and volleyball teams her junior and senior years … 2024 All-New Jersey Second Team selection … Garnered All-New Jersey Third Team status in 2023 … Three-time New Jersey Shore Conference Offensive Player of the Season (2022, 2023, and 2024) … Named to the All-Group 2 First Team in 2023 and 2024 … Also earned third team All-Group 2 honors in 2022 … A member of the Spanish and Math National Honor Society … Worked with the Miracle League as a volunteer.
