Sailing Quartet Wins Third Straight U.S. Team Racing Championship

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing seniors Justin Callahan and Mitchell Callahan, along with recent graduates Lachlain McGranahan '24 and Marbella Marlo '24, captured their third straight George R. Hinman Trophy after winning the 2025 U.S. Team Racing Championship in Larchmont, New York, this past weekend.

The Crimson quartet, which was also joined by Boston College alumnae Libby Redmond Sara Schumann, etched its name in the U.S. Sailing record book by becoming just the second team to win the event three straight times. Known as Los Huevos, the team joins NYYC Silver Panda in the late 2000s as the only three-peat winners.

Los Huevos went undefeated in the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals en route to the "Hinman Hat Trick." Rounding out the top three was runner-up Team SDYC and third-place Bearly Ready.
