CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Basketball closes out a three-game homestand to open the season when it hosts crosstown rival Northeastern University on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7:00 p.m. (ESPN+) at Lavietes Pavilion with the Crimson coming off victories over both MIT and New Hampshire to open the year.

- All five of Harvard's starters have averaged double-figure scoring to open the year in a group that includes senior guard Chandler Piggé (18.0 points per game), sophomore guard Robert Hinton (15.5), junior forward Thomas Batties II (14.5), and sophomore guards Tey Barbour (13.0) and Austin Hunt (10.5).
- Senior guard Chandler Piggé scored a game and season-high 23 points, sophomore guard Robert Hinton netted 22 points, and the Crimson overcame a 20-point first half deficit to beat New Hampshire, 86-75, on Nov. 9. All five Harvard starters scored in double figures as Harvard overcame a 20-point deficit for the fourth time under the tenure of Tommy Amaker, The Thomas G. Stemberg '71 Family Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Basketball.
- Opening the 2025-26 season, junior forward Thomas Batties II scored a game-high 17 points, senior guard Chandler Piggé tallied 13 points, five rebounds, and a game-high five assists, and sophomore guard Tey Barbour netted 12 points with four made 3-pointers as Harvard beat MIT, 79-50, in its season and home opener on Nov. 7 at Lavietes Pavilion.
- Sophomore guard Robert Hinton has averaged 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game to open the year. He dropped 22 -points on 9-of-16 field goals and 4-of-4 free throws vs. UNH (Nov. 9). Hinton – the 2024-25 Ivy League Rookie of the Year – averaged 14.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in 2024-25, while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from 3-point range. Hinton earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week eight times (Nov. 11, Nov. 25, Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Jan. 21, Feb. 3, Feb. 24, Mar. 10) on the season, tying the Ivy League record. As a first-year, Hinton scored in double figures 19 times on the year and eclipsed 20 points six times. He scored 393 points as a rookie, ranking second on Harvard's all-time first-year single-season scoring list.
- Senior guard Chandler Piggé has posted 18.0 points, 5.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game to open the year, while shooting 58.3 percent from the field. Piggé totaled 23 points and six assists, while shooting 8-of-11 from the floor vs. UNH (Nov. 9). He posted 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the season opener against MIT (Nov. 7). Piggé – an Honorable Mention All-Ivy selection and CSC Academic All-District honoree last season – notched 13.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game in 2024-25, while shooting 47.3 percent from the field. He has steadily increased his production over his career, averaging 1.9 points per game in 2022-23, 8.1 points per game in 2023-24, and 13.1 points per game in 2024-25. As a junior, he scored in double figures in each of 22 games, grabbed eight or more rebounds in each of 12 contests, and tallied two double-doubles.
- Junior forward Thomas Batties II has registered 14.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game to open the year, while shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 60.0 percent from 3-point distance. Batties II scored a game-high 17 points in the season opener vs. MIT (Nov. 7). He posted 12 points and five rebounds vs. UNH (Nov. 9). In 2024-25, Batties II averaged 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game on the year, while shooting 38.2 percent from 3-point distance. He scored in double figures in each of 14 games on the year as a sophomore. Batties II registered 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on the 2023-24 season.
- Sophomore guard Tey Barbour has registered 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game on the year, while shooting 61.5 percent from 3-point distance. He posted 14 points, six rebounds, and a career-high four made 3-pointers vs. UNH (Nov. 9). Barbour netted 12 points and made a career-high four 3-pointers in the season opener vs. MIT (Nov. 7). Barbour notched 4.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game on the year in 2024-25. He scored in double figures four times a year ago.
- Sophomore guard Austin Hunt has tallied 10.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game on the year, while shooting 72.7 percent from the field. He notched 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists vs. UNH (Nov. 9). Hunt averaged 7.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in 2024-25. He scored in double figures seven times a season ago.
- In the Crimson's exhibition finale, sophomore guard Robert Hinton scored a game-high 21 points, 14 members of the Crimson entered the scoring column, and Harvard beat UMass Boston, 107-58, on Oct. 30 at Lavietes Pavilion. As a team, Harvard shot 61.2 percent (41-of-67) from the field, 70.6 percent (12-of-17) from 3-point distance, and 92.9 percent (13-of-14) from the free throw line.
- In Harvard's exhibition opener, sophomore guard Robert Hinton led four Crimson in double figures with a game-high 21 points as the Crimson battled Providence in a narrow 85-77 setback at Amica Mutual Pavilion on Oct. 25. Sophomore guard Tey Barbour (15 points), senior guard Chandler Piggé (12 points), and junior forward Thomas Batties II (12 points) joined Hinton in double figures.
- Harvard leads Northeastern in the all-time series, 41-19. Prior to last season's 78-56 setback, the Crimson had won each of the previous three matchups, beating the Huskies, 77-57 in 2021-22, 70-69 in 2022-23, and 80-56 in 2023-24.
