Burghardt and Minnis Take Home Major NWPC Awards, Five Others Honored

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Jack Burghardt was named the 2025 NWPC Most Valuable Player, while Ted Minnis earned Coach of the Year as seven Crimson players earned All-Conference accolades, the CWPA announced today.

Burghardt is the first Crimson to win the award since 2021, while Ted Minnis picks up his third Coach of the Year honor and his second in the last three seasons.

Joining the duo with post-season accolades was Lukas Peabody, who also landed on the All-Conference First Team alongside Burghardt. Dean Strauser and Tyler Hogan earned Second Team honors, while Jacob Tsotadze and Tanner Furtak received honorable mentions.

Burghardt led the Crimson offensively all season, netting 98 goals and adding 14 assists. A Cutino Award Watch List nominee, Burghardt was a constant scoring threat in the biggest matchups.
Lukas Peabody enjoyed a career year, recording 56 goals and 32 assists more than doubled his production from his rookie season as the San Diego native earns post-season accolades for the first time in his career.

Last season's NWPC Rookie of the Year, Dean Strauser earned yet another all-confrence honor after he contributed 67 goals and 51 assists, establishing himself as one of the team's most dynamic offensive forces for the second straight season. Joining Strauser on the second team was Tyler Hogan who added 34 goals and 15 assists, who also improved on his production from his rookie season.

Tsotadze, who was an honorable mention last season as well tallied 35 goals and 45 assists as the captain had yet another impressive season in Cambridge.  Rounding out the Crimson nominations, Tanner Furtak, recorded 128 saves and played a major role in two of Harvard's biggest victories of the season over Pepperdine and Princeton.

The Crimson open the NWPC playoffs on Saturday against either LIU or Brown in Providence.
