INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the first time since 2004, NCAA Tournament matches will take place in Cambridge, as No. 3 Harvard field hockey earns an at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA Field Hockey Tournament. The Crimson will face America East foe New Hampshire in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, Nov. 14 at noon.
This marks the Crimson's third-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the longest streak in program history. Harvard is one of four seeded host programs, as the Crimson enter the NCAA Tournament with a 17-1 record, just one of three teams in the nation with a single loss. This is Harvard's 10
th NCAA Tournament appearance, as the Crimson own five wins in the competition, all of them arriving under the direction of head coach
Tjerk van Herwaarden.
The Crimson's match against the Wildcats will air live on ESPN+, as ticket information will become public on GoCrimson.com as soon as it is available.
