PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Harvard Men's Swimming and Diving opened the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at Rutgers Aquatics Center on Monday by competing on the 1-meter board.
Raphael Tourette and
Will Sullivan were two of 53 athletes to compete in the prelims, with Tourette earning spot in the final with a score of 296.65, which was good for 10
th place. Sullivan, a first-year, meanwhile, logged the 23
rd-best score, finishing at 272.65, but did not advance to the championship round.
Tourette later attempted six additional dives in the final and ultimately completed the event with a score of 570.85, to come in 16
th place in the 18-diver field.
Harvard returns to the pool tomorrow for the 3-meter diving competition. The prelims are slated for a noon ET start, with the finals to follow at 3:15 p.m. ET. All the action will be streamed live on
