CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Mick Thompson, Ian Moore, and Aku Koskenvuo all earned All-Ivy honors, the Ivy League Announced today.

Mick Thompson was named Rookie of the Year and landed on the second-team where he was joined by senior defenseman Ian Moore. Junior netminder Aku Koskenvuo earned an honorable mention and was named the teams Academic All-Ivy recipient. 

Mick Thompson recorded his first career goal in the dying seconds of overtime against Princeton in the second game to start what would be a fantastic season for the first-year. Thompson would finish the Ivy slate with four goals and four assists in 10 games played. The Ontario native would pick up a three-point outing in the 4-3 OT win against Yale in the final weekend of the regular season. 

Thompson is the sixth Crimson To win Ivy Rookie of the Year since 2016 joining Adam Fox, Casey Dornbach, Nick Abruzzese, Matt Coronato, and Joe Miller. 

Ian Moore earns his third All-Ivy recognition in his four seasons in Cambridge after landing on the second-team. Moore was second on the team with seven points in 10 games played, with his lone goal coming in the third period to force overtime against Princeton in January. The senior captain would record the first three-point game of his career against Yale in February in the eighth straight win over the Bulldogs. 

Koskenvuo took home an honorable mention after playing in seven of the 10 league games this season. Posting a 3-3-1 record with a 2.54 GAA, the junior netminder held Yale at bay in the first meeting back in January after making 24 saves in a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. Koskenvuo also was named the teams Academic All-Ivy nominee after an impressive season in the classroom.
