CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's basketball senior
Harmoni Turner was selected to the Las Vegas Aces with 35th pick in the third round of the 2025 WNBA Draft this evening. Turner is the fourth Harvard student-athlete to be drafted to the WNBA, and she is just the second to be drafted directly following her Harvard career.
The Harvard star boosted her draft stock in her senior season, finishing the year by leading the Crimson in points (22.5), rebounds (5.4), assists (3.4), and steals (2.8). Turner was named the 2025 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year, the World Exposure Mid-Major Player of the Year, the ECAC Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Year, and was the second player in program history to earn Honorable Mention AP All-America honors.
The Mansfield, Texas native leaves Cambridge as one of the best to ever wear the Harvard jersey. Statistically, she ends her career second all-time in steals (269) and field goals (756), third in points (2,032) and scoring average (18.5), fourth in three-pointers (188), and sixth in assists (405).
Harvard has five former student-athletes with WNBA ties, including McKenzie Forbes '23, Katie Benzan '20, Temi Fagbenle '15, and Allison Feaster '98.
