CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 3 men's heavyweight rowing team continued its strong spring campaign on Saturday, April 26, sweeping all four races against No. 20 Navy and No. 9 Penn to retain both the Adams and Clothier Cups. Racing on the Charles River under rainy conditions, the Crimson showed resilience and power across all varsity eights.

Varsity Eight (1V)

In the marquee race, Harvard's First Varsity Eight jumped out to an early lead and maintained control throughout, crossing the line in 5:50.2 — three seconds ahead of Penn (5:53.3) and well clear of Navy (6:04.9). With the win, the Crimson extended their unbeaten streak against both programs dating back to 1999.

Second Varsity Eight (2V)

Harvard's Second Varsity Eight delivered a steady and powerful performance, pulling away to win in 6:02.7, ahead of Penn (6:04.7) and Navy (6:17.1).

Third Varsity Eight (3V)

The Third Varsity Eight kept the Crimson momentum rolling, putting together a clean race to finish first in 6:10.6, besting Penn (6:17.5) and Navy (6:34.8).

Fourth Varsity Eight (4V)

Closing out the sweep, Harvard's Fourth Varsity Eight surged to a 6:11.9 finish, beating Penn (6:13.8) and Navy (6:31.8).
