Junior Corey Jantzen of the Harvard wrestling team earned a spot in the Preseason Intermat NCAA Division I rankings. The two-time NCAA qualifier returns to Cambridge after taking the 2009-10 season off to train with the national team.

Jantzen, who is a two-time EIWA placewinner at 141 pounds, makes the move to 149 pounds this season where he ranks 12th in the nation.  He is one of two Ivy League wrestlers ranked at this weight class as Cornell's Kyle Dake holds the No. 2 spot after winning an NCAA title at 141 pounds as a freshman.

Despite missing seven weeks as a freshman and five weeks during his sophomore campaign due to injury, the Shoreham, N.Y., native earned second-team All-Ivy League honors, placed at the EIWA Championships and qualified for nationals.

Jantzen has been ranked as high as No. 1 in the nation, a feat he accomplished as a sophomore when he knocked of the current No. 1 and defending national champion J. Jaggers of Ohio State to win the 141 pound title at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

Harvard starts its season Nov. 14 at the Binghamton Open. The Crimson had five placewinners at the same tournament last season.
