CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Sophomore fencer Alexander Ryjik of the Harvard men's fencing team will be featured in a segment on "The Real Winning Edge" television show Saturday afternoon. 

The show will be broadcast in the Boston area on WCVB from 12-12:30 p.m.

"The Real Winning Edge" television series focuses on students who display talent and have achieved a high level of proficiency in sports or arts. The students, who all have exemplary character, also have a story of dealing with a personal challenge and overcoming obstacles growing up.

Other athletes featured in this series include Jerome Iginla, Apolo Ohno and Albert Pujols.

Ryjik, a sabre fencer, finished 10th at the 2012 Ivy League Championships and earned a spot at the 2012 NCAA Championships. Ryjik is a native of Alexandria, Va.
