Woo tallied the highest mark for Harvard at NCAA Regionals (Gil Talbot).
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The No. 6 men's fencing team finished the NCAA Northeast Regionals, hosted by Yeshiva, with four student-athletes placing in the top-10.
Foil fencer Michael Woo claimed the men's highest ranking, placing fifth and finishing 6-5 with a plus-10 touch differential. Jerry Chang and Stephen Mageras tallied seventh and eighth-place marks, respectively. Chang also finished 6-5, but with a plus-four touch differential, while Mageras tallied a 5-6 record and a minus-two touch differential.
Saber fencer Eric Zhao rounded out the Harvard men's fencers in the top-10 as he finished 5-6, ranking him eighth with a minus-five touch differential.
The fencers that will qualify for the NCAA Championships will be announced Tuesday, March 15, with chosen student-athletes fencing on March 24-27 at Brandeis. Harvard finished seventh last year.
