No. 14 Men’s Water Polo Set to Host Brown and MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 14 Harvard men's water polo team is set for a pair of home games this weekend, taking on Brown (8-7, 1-1 NWPC) at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9 before a matchup with MIT (3-6, 1-2 NWPC) on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 12:00 p.m.

  • Harvard went 2-1 last weekend to begin NWPC play and comes in at 11-2 on the season.
  • In the CWPA Weekly National Top 20 Poll, Harvard comes in at No.14 in the nation.

At the Helm
Ted Minnis is in his 12th year as The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach. Minnis was named NWPC Coach of the Year following the 29-1, 2019 season, which set the program record for consecutive wins.  He holds a record of 211-115 (.647) with the men's team through 11+ seasons.

Next Up
Harvard will play host to the Harvard Invitational next weekend. The Crimson kicks off its tournament on Saturday, Oct. 16, taking on Gannon University at 10:15 a.m. before a matchup with Wagner College at 3:30 p.m. Harvard will then take on Salem University on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 11:45 a.m. before its final matchup with Mount St. Mary's at 4:45 p.m. All games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
