CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University wrestling takes part in its second weekend of competition in 2021-22 as the program travels to Philadelphia for the Keystone Classic at The Palestra on Sunday on ESPN+.

What to Know
- Other teams set to compete at the Keystone Classic include Appalachian State, Drexel, Franklin & Marshall, George Mason, Rider, Sacred Heart, and the University of Pennsylvania.
- In the latest rankings from Intermat from Nov. 16, sophomore Philip Conigliaro stands at No. 12 at 165 pounds, junior Yaraslau Slavikouski ranks at No. 16 at 285 pounds, and sophomore Joshua Kim sits at No. 32 at 174 lbs.
- Competing for the first time since March 7, 2020 – a span of 617 days – the Crimson posted a 36-21 overall record at the Journeymen Classic in its season opener with 13 bonus-point wins, including eight falls. Harvard tallied five pool champions and six pool runner-up finishes.
- At the Journeymen Classic, sophomore Joshua Kim took first place in pool A at 174 pounds behind a 3-0 record. First-year Kenny Herrmann came in first in pool C at 141 pounds with a 3-0 mark, and sophomore Nick Marcenelle claimed first place in pool B at 197 pounds behind a 3-0 record. At 184 pounds, first-years Dom Mata and Luke Rada won pools C and E respectively with 3-0 marks.
- First-year Diego Sotelo (125 pounds, pool A), junior Beau Bayless (125 pounds, pool B), senior A.J. Jaffe (157 pounds, pool B), sophomore Niko Katsuyoshi (157 pounds, pool D), first-year Doak Dean (165 pounds, pool F), and sophomore Leo Tarantino (184 pounds, pool C) all registered second-place pool finishes at the Journeymen Classic.
- Senior A.J. Jaffe, junior Yaraslau Slavikouski, and sophomore Leo Tarantino are set to serve the Crimson as captains during the 2021-22 season.
- In Intermat's All-EIWA Preseason Teams, both sophomore Philip Conigliaro and junior Yaraslau Slavikouski earned spots on the Second Team.
- Earlier this month, junior Yaraslau Slavikouski competed at the U23 World Wrestling Championship in Belgrade, Serbia, reaching the quarterfinals of the freestyle 125-kilogram division. In January 2021, Slavikouski earned a bronze medal at Belarus Senior Nationals at 125 kilograms.
