FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Harvard men's fencing went a perfect 5-0 at the Sacred Heart Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 4. The Crimson are now an impressive 14-1 on the season. 14-1 is the Crimson's best record through 15 games in team history.
The Crimson opened the invitational with a convincing 23-4 win against Vassar College. Both the sabre and foil squads shut out their opponents, winning 9-0. The win moves Harvard to 16-0 all time against Vassar.
Harvard stayed hot in their next matchup, beating Penn State 21-6. The foil and sabre teams again led the way for the Crimson.

Kenji Bravo from foil and
Filip Dolegiewicz and
Mitchell Saron from Sabre each won all three of their bouts in this match.
Up next, the Crimson earned their most dominate win of the day, defeating the hosts, Sacred Heart, 24-3. The foil squad earned their second 9-0 shutout out the day, their third of the season.
In the fourth match, Harvard faced off against the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Foil's

Josh Willcox each earned three wins in their bouts to push the Crimson to a decisive 22-5 win.
The Crimson concluded the day with a 21-6 win over New York University. Sabre's 8-1 victory helped seal an undefeated day and their 12
th win in a row. The Crimson have also now won six in a row against NYU.
