CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard men's fencing dueled New York University on Saturday, January 28, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, defeating the Violets 18-9. The Crimson are now 2-0 against NYU and have won 17 of their last 18 matches.
Both team captains,
Kenji Bravo (foil) and
Jonas Hansen (epee), would lead the way for the Crimson as they each won all three of their bouts on the day.
Mitchell Saron (sabre) also impressed, going 2-0 on the day, including a 5-0 sweep in his second bout.
Harvard has now won seven in a row over NYU.
