Harvard to Host Long Beach State University on Friday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 60 Harvard Women's Tennis (5-5) plays hosts to Long Beach State University (2-2) on Friday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m., at the Murr Center Tennis Courts. The match will be streamed on Stretch Internet. 
 
The Crimson's matchup against Long Beach State marks the first time the two schools will play each other since 2015. Harvard leads the all-time series with the Beach, 4-3.
 

What to Know

  • Harvard is coming off a third-place finish in the ECAC Championships after winning two out of three matches in the tournament.
  • In the latest ITA team rankings, the Crimson find themselves at No. 60, its highest ranking since 2017.  
  • First-year Charlotte Owensby is also ranked No. 85 in the ITA singles rankings.
  • The Beach is coming off a 4-0 loss to San Diego State in its last outing.
