CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second straight season, Rachel Arbitman and Angel You will serve as captains for Harvard women's tennis, Traci Green announced today.  Arbitman and You are the fifth duo in program history to serve as captains in two consecutive seasons. 

The pair were integral parts of a historic team last season, contributing to play on the court and leadership off the court.  Arbitman is a consistent presence in the Crimson doubles lineups, last season appearing in 16 matches across the fall and dual seasons.  In the fall, Arbitman advanced to the round of 32 of the doubles main draw at the ITA All-American Championships alongside Iveta Daujotaite.  Off the court, Arbitman was named an ITA Scholar Athlete for the second straight season. 

You appeared in nine singles matches and 20 doubles matches throughout last season.  The Crimson captains' premiere victory came against Furman as she clinched the team victory with a resilient win at the No. 6 position.  The Chantilly, Va. native also received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for the second straight year. 

The pair will look to lead Harvard to another strong season after finishing last year 19-5 and helping the Crimson earn its first bid to the NCAA Tournament since 2010.
