CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis is set to send three representatives to the ITA All-American Championships beginning Saturday, September 21 in Cary Park, NC.
Maxi Duncan and
Kate Kim will begin action in the singles prequalifying draws on the opening day, followed by
Stephanie Yakoff on Monday, September 23 in the qualifying draw. Duncan will face Katsiaryna Tuliakova (Stetson) at 2:00 p.m. and Kim will take on Taly Licht (Georgia Tech) at 3:00 p.m. to begin their journey's.
What to Know
- Maxi Duncan and Kate Kim will begin their quests at the ITA All-American Championships in the singles prequalifying draws. Duncan appears at the tournament for the second time her career while Kim is making her debut in Cary Park.
- Duncan has started her senior season 1-0 in singles play by defeating Muskan Mahajan (Boston College), 6-4, 6-1 in the opening day of the Harvard Fall Classic last weekend.
- Kim is coming off of a dominant first-year with the Crimson where she led the team in singles wins with a record of 24-6. She has started her sophomore 2-1 following three matches in the opening weekend.
- Stephanie Yakoff will also be making her first appearance at the ITA All-American Championships when she appears in the qualifying draw beginning on Monday.
- Yakoff has started the year 1-1 and is poised for a successful sophomore season after finishing last year with a singles record of 18-5 and a team leading 24-10 doubles record.

The Crimson will return next weekend to participate at the UMass Fall Invitational from Friday, September 27 through Sunday, September 29.
