Program Record Eight Crimson Earn NFHCA Northeast All-Region Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Eight Harvard field hockey student-athletes garnered National Field Hockey Coaches Association Northeast All-Region recognition, marking the most for the Crimson in a single season in school history.

Junior Lara Beekhuis, senior Bronte-May Brough, first-year Linde Burger, senior Kitty Chapple, sophomore Martha le Huray and junior Sage Piekarski all took NFHCA Northeast All-Region First Team status, while sophomore Tilly Butterworth and senior Fiene Oerlemans captured NFHCA Northeast All-Region Second Team honors.

A staple for the Crimson's attack, Beekhuis is a NFHCA Northeast All-Region First Team selection for a second consecutive season. Appearing in all 21 games this season, Beekhuis finished the 2025 campaign with 11 goals, six assists and 28 points, all career highs for the Laren, Netherlands native. Across 61 career appearances, Beekhuis has 31 career goals and owns 72 career points.

One of the top talents in program history, Brough is the third student-athlete in Harvard history to take NFHCA Northeast All-Region First Team honors four times. An anchor for a Crimson defense that ranked second nationally in goals against average (0.74), Brough was a focal point for Harvard's attacking penalty corner strategy, as she finished with six goals, three points and 15 points in 21 appearances this season. The only student-athlete in conference history to earn Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year multiple times, Brough wraps her Crimson career with 26 goals, 13 assists and 65 points in 74 showings.

Burger was sensational in her rookie season, as she becomes the first rookie goalie in program history to earn NFHCA Northeast All-Region First Team status. Nationally, Burger ranked first in goals against average (0.70) and 10th in save percentage (0.769), as her nine shutouts led the Ivy League and ranked second for shutouts by a Crimson in a single season.

An impact player on both the offensive and defensive ends in the midfield, Chapple is now a NFHCA Northeast All-Region First Team pick for the third in time in her collegiate career. A team captain for the Crimson this season, Chapple logged two goals and a career-high and team best seven assists this season. A native of Somerset, England, Chapple served as the Crimson's fly in its penalty corner defense.

The 2024 Ivy League Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, le Huray takes NFHCA Northeast All-Region First Team honors for the first time after a career year on the front line. le Huray logged career-highs in goals (13), assists (6) and points (32) in 20 appearances in 2025, as le Huray tallied two goals and one assist in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. le Huray's goal and points tally both ranked in the top five in the Ancient Eight this year.

The Ivy League's Co-Offensive Player of the Year, Piekarski adds NFHCA Northeast All-Region First Team honors to an already long list of accolades from this season. Ranking first in the Ivy League in goals (16) and in the top five in points (36), Piekarski is an NFHCA All-Region honoree for the second time in her career. Piekarski is the active career leader on the team in both goals (33) and points (75).

Harvard's sparkplugs down the wings, Butterworth and Oerlemans are both first time NFHCA Northeast All-Region selections for the first time in their careers.
