PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard men's lightweight rowing captured both the Goldthwait and Vogel Cups on Saturday, April 26, with strong victories over Princeton and Yale on Lake Carnegie. The First Varsity Eight led the way, setting a new course record in winning fashion.
With the results, Harvard now leads the all-time series against Yale, 60–40, dating back to 1921, and holds a 60–42 advantage over Princeton. The Crimson topped Yale by 10.9 seconds and Princeton by 6.7 seconds in the 1V race.
Both the First and Second Varsity Eights remain undefeated this season, having collected wins over Cornell, Georgetown, Columbia, Dartmouth, Navy, MIT, Princeton, and Yale.
