BOSTON, Mass. - Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving sent three student-athletes to compete at the Boston Winter Open at the FitRec Competition Pool this weekend.
Camille Ching,
Davina Huang, and
Ro Dudevoir each earned second-place finishes in their respective events over the two-day meet.
The competition began Friday, Feb. 6, with Huang competing in the 50 fly, Ching taking on the one-meter diving event, and Dudevoir swimming the in 100 fly time trial. On Saturday, Feb. 7, Huang competed again in the 100 fly.
How It Happened
Huang opened the meet for the Crimson with a strong performance in the 50 fly, placing second in 23.82, just 0.02 seconds behind Columbia's Sophie Kloppenburg. Ching posted a runner-up finish on the one-meter board, earning a total score of 267 points. With this score, Ching also secured a spot at Diving Zones. In the 100 fly time trial, Dudevoir earned second place with a time of 58.73.
Huang returned to the pool on Saturday to compete in the 100 fly, touching the wall in 55.46 for another second-place finish.
