No. 13 Men’s Water Polo Set to Close Out Regular Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 13 Harvard men's water polo team will close out its regular season schedule with a trio of NWPC games this upcoming weekend. The Crimson (22-4, 6-2 NWPC) travels to MIT (7-14, 1-7 NWPC) on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 9:00 a.m. before a home matchup with Connecticut College (1-11, 0-3 NWPC) at 12:00 p.m. Harvard wraps up NWPC play with a road contest against No. 20 Brown (17-12, 4-3 NWPC) on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 11:00 a.m.

  • Harvard comes in 6-2 in NWPC conference play and holds a 22-4 overall record on the season.

At the Helm
Ted Minnis enters his 12th year as The Friends of Harvard Water Polo Head Coach in 2021-22. He led the Crimson to a historic 29-1 record in 2019, with an undefeated 27-0 mark through regular season play. Minnis was named NWPC Coach of the Year following the record-breaking season which set the program record for consecutive wins.  He holds a record of 222-117 (.655) with the men's team through 11+ seasons.

Next Up
Harvard will play in the NWPC Championship from Nov. 19-21 in Princeton, N.J. The winner of the conference tournament will advance to the NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship with opening round games for the NCAA tournament set to begin on Saturday, Nov. 27.
