Track and Field Teams Top Ivy Programs in Team GPA; Men's, Women's Teams and 26 Individuals Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard track and field enjoyed a standout year in the classroom, recording the best men's and women's team GPA among Ivy League programs as both were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams. Harvard had 26 individuals earn USTFCCCA individual All-Academic honors.
 
The Harvard men (3.654) had the second highest men's team GPA in the nation, while the Harvard women (3.671) were ranked 12th in the country among women's programs.
 
According to the USTFCCCA, to be nominated for the award teams must finish highly at their respective national championship and have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA. To be designated as an individual, the student-athlete must achieve a 3.25 cumulative GPA while being ranked in either the top 96 of an event or compete in any round of the national championships.
 
The Crimson women who earned the award were: Victoria Bossong, Alana Carroll, Isabelle Goldstein, Izzy Goudros, Kylie Hilton, Jada Jones, Anna Juul, Tina Martin, Sarah Omoregie, Judy Pendergast, Maia Ramsden, Anastasia Retsa, Isabell Sagar, Sharelle Samuel and Estel Valeanu
 
The Crimson men honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic choices were Graham Blanks, Chet Ellis, Joe Ewing, Daniel Falode, Kenneth Ikeji, Acer Iverson, Alexander Kolesnikoff, Gregory Lapit, David Melville, Matthew Pereira, and Samuel Welsh.
