CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard track and field enjoyed a standout year in the classroom, recording the best men's and women's team GPA among Ivy League programs as both were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams. Harvard had 26 individuals earn USTFCCCA individual All-Academic honors.
The Harvard men (3.654) had the second highest men's team GPA in the nation, while the Harvard women (3.671) were ranked 12
th in the country among women's programs.
According to the USTFCCCA, to be nominated for the award teams must finish highly at their respective national championship and have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA. To be designated as an individual, the student-athlete must achieve a 3.25 cumulative GPA while being ranked in either the top 96 of an event or compete in any round of the national championships.
