Cambridge, Mass. - The Harvard Track and Field team will start the 2023 outdoor season on Thursday, March 16 at the Houston Spring Break Invite. Live results will be available throughout the meet.
The meet will start at 9:30 a.m. EST with the men's hammer throw and the women's javelin throw. Field events will run on a rolling schedule with the men's and women's long jumps and triple jumps being held simultaneously. Running events will start at 12:30 p.m. EST with the women's 3000m run and run on a rolling schedule until the conclusion of the men's 4x400m relay at an estimated time of 4 p.m.
What to Know
• The Crimson just wrapped up the indoor track and field season as six athletes competed at the NCAA Championship meet.
Maia Ramsden was the first Crimson athlete to earn First Team All-American status in two events while
Izzy Goudros,
Graham Blanks,
Kenneth Ikeji,
Acer Iverson and
Alexander Kolesnikoff earned second team honors.
• The women's track and field team won the Ivy League Indoor Championship meet while the men's team took second. Both teams won eight individual events at the championship meet.
• The Crimson 4x100m relay team with returning athletes
Lance Ward,
Oliver Murcko and
Gregory Lapit set the school record in the 4x100m relay last year at the Houston Spring Break Invite.
• Nine athletes posted marks in the top-three in Crimson history at this meet last year.
• The women's team brought home six event wins and the men's team brought home three from the Houston Spring Break Invite last year.

The Crimson will have athletes stay on the road traveling to Raleigh, N.C. for Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 24 and others traveling to Coral Gables, Fl. for the Hurricane Invitational on Saturday, March 25. More athletes will also travel to the UMass Lowell Riverhawk Invite in Lowell, Mass. on Saturday, March 25.
